Description

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti or Linguine
  • Fresh Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • Fresh Garlic (minced)
  • Fresh Lemon Juice
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Fresh Parsley (chopped)
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook spaghetti or linguine until al dente according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet. Cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour in freshly squeezed lemon juice and sprinkle with red pepper flakes; stir to combine.
  5. Drain pasta, reserving ½ cup pasta water. Add pasta to the skillet, tossing with chopped parsley and reserved water as needed for sauce consistency.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
