  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup Easter candy eggs (mini chocolate or colorful candies)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Remove from heat and whisk in cocoa powder, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly; then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gently fold in flour until just combined.
  4. Stir in half of the chocolate chips and fold in chopped Easter candy eggs.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until set but fudgy in the center.
