- 1 cup halal cheese, shredded
- 1 pound ground beef or chicken
- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté chopped onions until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
